The seminars will be hosted by Allan Corfield Architects, with industry experts providing engaging talks throughout the day. We are delighted to have secured the following speakers –

Jenny Chandela
AC Architects
US Registered Architect

Having worked in New Orleans from 2005 until moving to the United Kingdom two years later, Jenny holds a US architectural registration. She joins AC Architects in the Swindon office where she provides consultations to Self Builders and is available to host Virtual Reality demonstrations.

Tom McSherry
BuildStore
Finance Expert

Tom has worked in the financial services industry for 30 years. He has spent the last 16 of these, specialising in self build mortgage at BuildStore, providing expert advice to hundreds of customers embarking on major homebuilding projects. Tom has completed self build projects himself, and is widely regarded as a self build finance expert.

Brian Singleton
ADM Systems
MVHR Expert

Brian has been involved in MVHR since the mid 90s and he is also a qualified BPEC accredited engineer and regularly commissions installed systems. Witnessing self-builders dreams turn to reality is what drives Brian. Even with his wealth of knowledge Brian is still hungry to learn and impart his experience to clients.

David Gallagher
AC Structures
Structural Engineer

David attained an MEng in Civil Engineering Design and Management at Dundee University in 2006. During his career, he has obtained a wealth of experience working in the UK, Middle East and New Zealand working on a number of high profile projects before joining AC Structures as Technical Director.

James Bryden

Project Management and QS

James is a construction project cost expert and has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, within both the commercial and private sectors. James founded ClearPlan Project Management Ltd with his wife Nicky back in 2009, which merged with Charlie Laing Ltd to form CLPM Ltd in 2014.

David Hilton
Heat & Energy
Renewable Heating Expert

David is an authority in sustainable building and energy efficiency, with extensive knowledge in building fabrics, heating systems, heat recovery ventilation, emerging technologies and renewables, including heat pump technologies, Solar systems, biomass and also conventional heating systems.
