Architectural Jobs at ACA
Are you interested in working with us?
Due to continued growth, ACA regularly list architecture jobs in our Dunfermline and Swindon offices. On this page, you can find the current vacancies, however if you don’t see your perfect job listed and think that you are ideally suited, then send in a CV!
Since 2009, Allan Corfield Architects Limited has been steadily growing in size and ambition. Having started out as a one-man band supplying designs for home extensions, ACA is now a team of 16 – specialising in the growing Custom & Self Build sector. To date we have completed over 450 projects across the length of the UK.
Based in Fife and Swindon, our gifted team is led by Architect and self-build expert Allan Corfield. As well as running ACA, Allan also speaks and writes for the Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine – delivering talks across the UK on low energy homes.
ACA work predominately on residential projects; including small extensions, one-off homes and large housing developments. ACA provide Architecture, Energy Assessment and now Structural Engineering services on all of our low energy eco homes.
These are built around the Fabric first approach, utilising modern methods of construction such as Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), Timber Frame and Insulating Concrete Formwork (ICF).
ACA utilise 3D BIM software ArchiCAD throughout the design process and have 2 Virtual Reality studios, where our clients (and team) can design and visualise the future project in an immersive 3D environment.
ACA have been shortlisted for numerous awards, including best architect, best eco home and one of our homes was awarded Best SIPS Home at the BuildIt Awards 2018. In addition, several of our projects have featured in the Homebuilding & Renovating magazine and on a number of well-known television programmes.

Why work with ACA?
We actively invest in our people and their development, supporting their passion and expertise in architecture. Our collaborative culture allows them to exchange their experience and express their creativity.
We are a very friendly group, we support each other and we care about the wellbeing of our colleagues. We are focused and hard working, but equally enjoy a relaxed working environment with regular social events, such as Domino Pizza Fridays and staff nights out.
We specialise in designing low energy homes, which means that sustainability is at the core of our practice. We design homes around the fabric first approach utilising modern methods of construction, often meeting the strictest and most challenging Passivhaus standard.
Our design led approach allows our people to express their creativity whilst pursuing our clients’ dreams.
Due to continued growth, we regularly look for various architecture professionals to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work remotely and in our offices in Dunfermline and Swindon. See the current architecture jobs we offer below:
