Kirkton Lea, Burntisland
ACA was appointed by SIPS Homes Ltd, a luxury home developer based in Fife.
Kirkton Lea is a development in Burntisland comprising of 2-bed apartments, penthouses, and three, four and five-bedroom low-energy homes.
The dwellings will feature sophisticated architectural elements such as the impressive vaulted ceiling and glazed gable windows, which run along the entire width of the houses – bringing the inside and outside together.
Each new home is highly specified and includes – Aluclad triple-glazed windows and doors, solar panels, mechanical ventilation and heat recovery system (MVHR), cabling for an electric car charging point, air source heat pump, and alarm system – all fitted as standard.
The exterior of the new homes utilises a combination of materials that will be almost maintenance-free.
The homes are constructed with SIPS Panels, creating a low-energy, airtight fabric, which will see the overall development reach net zero carbon status.
The development started in December 2021, and the first homes will be handed over in late 2022.
