Modern Eco Extension in Steeple Ashton
In the village of Steeple Ashton, Allan Corfield Architects were commissioned to reimagine and extend a traditional bungalow into a modern, energy-efficient family home.
The client’s brief included adding a new first floor with three bedrooms and a bathroom, along with reconfiguring the ground floor to improve the kitchen and living spaces.
The project also involved upgrading the windows, doors, and building fabric in line with Fabric First principles.
The design blends contemporary functionality with a style that remains sympathetic to the surrounding village character.
