2023 was a year that brought global financial challenges, regulation changes, and successes to ACA. Our team has grown, and our skills have developed, making our service quicker and better! We were involved in many amazing projects and our efforts and success were recognised, by many satisfied clients.
We look to start the New Year even more motivated and ready for new, ambitious challenges. Here’s a look at our plans for the coming year.
WORKING ON OUR WEBSITE
We have been making continued strides in making our website an inclusive learning platform for those looking to enter the world of Self Build. We are always adding to our blog to provide you with valuable insights into the work that we do. Keep an eye out for new posts in 2024 where we will provide more Self Build knowledge, show you what projects we’re working on, and talk to more experts in the field of Self Building.

ACA ON THE ROAD
AC Architects took part in shows up and down the country, and we’re back on the road throughout 2024.
It’s always a pleasure to exhibit at the NSBRC, and Allan and our Swindon-based architects will continue to deliver talks there throughout the calendar year. You’ll find us at the first show this year from the 26th to the 28th of January.
Both our Swindon and Dunfermline offices will be delivering seminars throughout the year. You can find our architects at the NSBRC on the 26th of April, the 13th of July, and the 29th of November. You’ll also get a chance to speak to Allan at our newly renovated Scottish head office on the 31st of May.
The Homebuilding & Renovating Show will celebrate its 30th birthday next year, and we’re proud to be a part of their ever-growing platform. Allan will be available at every show as a Self Build and Design expert. The first event will take place on the 13th and 14th of January in Farnborough. Additionally, ACA and ACS will have their own stands at the shows in Birmingham, Glasgow and London in 2024.
We have many more workshops and events coming up in 2024, so keep an eye out!
CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AT ACA
ACA & ACS will be continuing with their Professional Development into next year. This keeps our staff up to date on the newest methods of construction, new structural and design theories, and ever-advancing building technologies. By keeping our skills and knowledge up to date, we can be even more effective at producing sustainable homes for our clients.

3 YEARS OF AC STRUCTURES
AC Structures will celebrate 3 years in business in 2024, and we couldn’t be happier with how far their business has come. ACS was created to provide a better design relationship between Architects and Structural Engineers, and the team have exceeded our expectations.
ACS and ACA will continue to work together on our projects, keeping the process streamlined and time-efficient.
We brought two new faces on board at ACS, and we plan to expand the team even more next year. Keep an eye out for graduate opportunities at ACS next year.
ORCHARD FARM
Sales for the Orchard Farm Self Build development launch early next year, and you’ll be able to reserve a plot for 9 weeks for a fee of £500.
AC Architects are proud to be amongst the network of experts for this exciting Self Build community, and we are already working with new clients to build their dream homes there. If you’re looking to be a part of this project, have a look at our landing page.
WORKING AS A TEAM
Our gifted team has grown to over 20 individuals, and we plan to keep on expanding over 2024 and 2025. We have now worked on over 500 projects, and we have undertaken our biggest project to date.
