Craig Andrews

Architectural Technician

Craig studied Architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture before going on to work at both DPDS Architecture in Swindon and Stride Treglown in Bristol, gaining valuable experience across a variety of residential, commercial, healthcare & education projects.

Having left architectural practice during the recession of 2008/9, Craig’s passion for architecture was reignited years later whilst undertaking various freelance residential refurbishment/extension projects helping friends and family, from initial design concept through to practical completion.

Craig joined Quattro Design Architects based in Gloucester Quays in 2016, initially working within the practices residential team before settling in the Extra Care & Elderly Living Team for five and a half years, working upon numerous schemes of up to 80no. extra care apartments with communal facilities across all RIBA stages.

At ACA, Craig is looking to build upon his passion for one-off residential projects and 5+ years of ArchiCAD experience to contribute towards ACA’s portfolio and the team’s growth in Swindon whilst attaining Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) status.

Two young daughters keep Craig busy outside of work. However when time permits enjoys all sports and is a (long-suffering) Swindon Town fan, regularly attending matches. Other interests include currently looking for a Victorian / Edwardian renovation & refurbishment project, a ‘forever’ family home, with his family in the historical area of Old Town in Swindon.
