Pearl graduated from the University of Nottingham with an MEng in Architecture and Environmental Engineering.
Through university, Pearl brought her project’s design focus to sustainability. She is enthusiastic about increasing her understanding of low-energy design with ACA, hoping to continue to become a qualified architect in the future.
Taking the opportunity in her second year, Pearl joined 24 other undergraduates to design a crèche for a rural village in South Africa in cooperation with Education Africa. After amendments from engineers, the unit went out and built its design from the foundations up in easter of 2019.
Pearl enjoys art, music and collecting postcards from her travels. She’s currently learning mandarin and trying very hard to keep her plants alive.
