This proposed development involves the construction of a new 3 / 4 bedroom dwelling located at the rear of a long garden plot in Cullompton. The plot currently includes a bungalow and garage at the front. The new home is intended as a long-term residence for the applicants, allowing them to live adjacent to close family.
The proposed dwelling has been carefully sited to retain a number of mature trees at the rear of the plot and to minimise the visual and environmental impact of development.
Designed with a focus on thermal efficiency and long-term sustainability, the new home meets high standards of insulation and energy performance and is build from Solid Wood kit construction. The internal layout is being developed to support flexible family living, with dedicated workspace and strong natural daylighting and connection to the garden.
