Home Extension and Refurbishment in Lanark
Towards the end of 2016, we were contacted by a couple who were looking to create a modern, efficient home to enjoy during their retirement from an existing, small 2-bedroom bungalow.
We worked with them closely over a period of months, developing their brief and exploring various design options.
Our 3D software proved to be an invaluable tool to help the clients understand the design.
After securing planning approval for the significant extension and renovation proposal, we helped our clients obtain quotations for the work from some of our trusted contractors.
Following some minor revisions to keep costs down, we moved onto the detailed design stage to obtain building warrant approval.
The main contractor completed the works before Christmas and the couple we able to move in soon after and enjoy their new home with their family and friends over the festive period.
The finished design looks striking and contemporary and sits comfortably on the site enjoying stunning views over the valley, it is almost impossible to identify the existing cottage within the completed design.
